For homes 149 and 150 in Haiti, the team built a duplex for sisters Marjorie Joseph and Marly Josephine. They each have one child. They have all lived in a one room house with no windows for seven years. Marjorie lost her husband five years ago, and Marly’s husband went to work in the Dominican Republic but never came back. It’s been a long time since we’ve built a duplex. The duplexes have a shared kitchen and bathroom. The families are very happy to each have their own space.
