Homes from the Heart is all about taking stories of loss and converting them into stories of giving. That brings us to home number 96. Sophia Dercilus is a 41 year-old mother, who lives on a piece of land with her brothers and sisters. She is a farmer and sells the food she grows at the open market. Like so many others, she lost her daughter and much of her livelihood in the earthquake. "I never hoped I'd have a house to live in after I had lost everything," Sophia said. "Thanks Homes from the Heart." We continue to build in Haiti and will soon complete our 100th home. Thank you for your continued support.
