Home 190: Hélène Decatus, 65, is raising her two grandsons and one granddaughter. Her daughter went to the Dominican Republic to look for work. As you can see from the photos, we weren’t able to get them all in one picture because they were at school. Hélène does laundry in order to provide for her grandchildren.
Home 191: Lovelie Casseus was living with her husband and daughter in another city, but they had to move and leave everything behind after her husband was shot. She is a very jovial person. Despite the tragedy her family has gone through, she thanks God because she says they should’ve died too, but God saved their lives. They have a cat named Milou.
