Thirty-three year old Lousie Alexandre was living with her mother until she passed away last Christmas. She was living with her two year old son in a shack before we built this home for her. She was thrilled to help us paint the house and move in. In addition, someone at Jimmy’s church has offered to donate money for Lousie to start a small business in front of her house.

Sixty-five year old Alice Jean is raising her grandchildren by herself because her daughter passed away. She works as a farmer who sells vegetables and fruit to provide for her family. She is a hardworking woman whose grandchildren help her harvest the food and sell the produce at the flea market. Her greatest wish was to have a better place for her family to live.
