Yvenie’s husband died six months ago from complications related to asthma. She supports her four children by selling candy, cookies, and other sweets at a school. She and her boys are happy to have a safe home.

Andrea is 61 years old. Her 11 year-old grandson has lived with her since her daughter died two years ago. Before Homes from the Heart built them this home, they pieced together a shack with pieces of metal.
