Our team has been working hard over the past month, and we now have two more homes built in Haiti to share with you all.
The first belongs to a member of our own construction team, Caleb Severe. Caleb has worked with Homes from the Heart since its inception in Haiti. He is very hardworking and eager to get involved in new construction projects. When his wife died last year, he had to leave his mother-in-law’s house to go stay with his sister. Homes from the Heart decided to build him a home, and he is very happy to have his own place.

The second home now belongs to single mother, Cecilia Augusma. She sells fruit in the street of Croix des Bouquets. Cecilia has been on our list for almost three years, but we have been unable to build for her because she was previously unable to find a piece of land. Recently, somebody from her church gave her this spot, and Homes from the Heart was able to build. She is thrilled to be moving into her new home!
