Hurricane Matthew rocked the Caribbean and Southeast Coastal areas the past few weeks. As you have seen in the news and, as Jimmy's pictures reveal, there have been a lot of homes lost in the Southwest.

Our construction manager in Haiti, Redeem Dieudonne, better known as Jimmy, let us know that the situation in Croix des Bouquets is much better.  There have been homes that lost their roofs, but none of the Homes from the Heart houses have been damaged.

"Our houses are very strong," said Jimmy. "We built them to resist hurricanes.”

In terms of relief services, the United States is sending in an aid ship, and the military is deploying again. This aid will probably look similar to how it was after the earthquake.

Jimmy imagines that supplies will be near gone within the month and more support to relief efforts would be greatly appreciated.
