Guerda Charles is the recipient of Homes from the Heart's 94th home completed last week in Haiti. Guerda has been taking care of her grandchildren ever since the death of their mother in the earthquake. Previously, she sold cold drinks in front of her home, but had to stop to focus on raising the children. Additionally, she did not have enough money to continue. She sends a message of special thanks and blessings to those who had a hand in providing her with a new home. "This is my Christmas gift," she said with a big smile!
